1. Data we collect

We collect the information you provide directly when you create an account: name, email, phone number, and bank account details required to receive rent payments. For tenants, we collect payment method details (handled by our payment processor) and rental history within the platform. We also collect property details, lease terms, maintenance requests, and financial entries you choose to record.

2. Cookies and tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure your session. With your permission, we also use the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel and Conversions API to understand whether a visit from an advertisement results in registration, a trial, adding a rental unit, a subscription, or installing our web app. They may store OpenAI's attribution references in first-party cookies and send the page URL and conversion event to OpenAI. We do not use them to operate your account, and declining it does not change the service. You can clear cookies through your browser settings or .

3. Third parties

We share data only with the service providers required to operate TenantsRent: our payment processor (Stripe) for handling rent payments, our hosting provider for running the application, our email provider for transactional notifications, our database provider for secure storage, and our file storage provider for the documents you upload — leases, receipts, and maintenance photos. Each is bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations. We do not sell your personal information. If you allow conversion measurement, OpenAI also receives the limited advertising measurement data described above.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we retain financial and payment records for up to seven years to comply with tax and financial regulations, after which the data is deleted or fully anonymized. You may request export of your data at any time.
